FACES (FAMILY)SIZES

USING A DIFFERENT FONT ON A PAGE

If you wish to use a special font face (family) on your Page Builder made pages you can use this method:

  1. Place this code in the Advanced Page Properties HEAD SCRIPT box:

    <style type="text/css">td{font-family:FONT-FAMILY-NAME}</style>

where FONT-FAMILY-NAME is the name of the font, e.g. verdana, times new roman, arial, lucida handwriting italic, etc.

  2. When placing any text on your page be sure to specify the BROWSER DEFAULT in the text drop down menu (the highlighted item in the left graphic above).

You can still override this font family by selecting any of the standard font families in the drop down text menu for other text areas. To see how this works, Click Here!

USING PAGE BUILDER'S BUILT IN TEXT

To put TEXT on your page, click on the TEXT ICON, which will give you a TEXT BOX on the screen:

IMPORTANT! THE BLUE BOX
The TEXT BOX has a BLUE BORDER around it and the border has small squares at each corner and in the middle of each side. These small squares allow you to size the text area as you wish, i.e. you can make it wider and higher to so the text takes up as much room on the screen as you want it to. Just click on corners, hold down, and drag bigger. Any object (text, picture, etc.) can be highlighted and modified by clicking on it

The ICONS on the bottom part of the tool bar (noted in RED below), which become visible when the TEXT ICON is clicked on,

are for, reading from left to right:

If you decide to change the FACE, SIZE, or COLOR of an portion of the text, then:

  1. click on the text to highlight it
  2. highlight the particular text in the text box you wish to change the font
  3. select the font-face, font size, bold, italic, etc.
  4. press OK.

NOTE: You can highlight any part of the text in a text box and then use the BOLD, ITALIC, and UNDERLINE for that text. But, it you highlight a small portion of the text in a text box and then CENTER it, all the text in the box will be centered!
